Repair cracked brickwork: helibar/resin damage, tyrolean render finish. Replace guttering to regs.
Anthony and Louise run a 5 star business. Polite, efficient, knowledgeable and highly skilled. After years of trying to troubleshoot this issue, Anthony went up the scaffold and told me what the issue was immediately. The guttering was not building regs spacing from the render; it had rotted the wooden fascia and caused the brickwork underneath to blow over the years due to water ingress and freeze/thaw cycles. Arch lifted 50mm, helibar/resin repair to crack, new guttering to regs, tyrolean finish. Have not found anyone who would have done this in years of requesting help. Thank you so much.

Replace roof tiles
After finding a leak in the loft, I called Anthony who came round quickly to check it out. He identified the problem and also checked the rest of the roof. He immediately did a temporary fix to stop the leak. He then booked the work in to be done which involved replacing 5 roof tiles and part of the wooden structure of the roof. The work was carried out in professional manner and well done. I have now used this company for several jobs and would highly recommend them for the quality of the work and the knowledge and capabilities of Anthony.

Knock through utility into kitchen and fit new kitchen
A brilliant experience from start to finish. Anthony came and quoted to knock a utility into the main kitchen and then to fit the kitchen. Brick up an old door that had been sealed, insulate the space, and skim the wall afterwards.
Anthony did a great job, always turned up on time, and kept us informed as he made progress. At the end of the job he took away all of the rubbish, and even gave me a few pointers for when we’ll eventually decorate the room. Would definitely call Anthony again if we ever have anymore building jobs.

AK Construction and Maintenance was recommended to me by my neighbour. The kitchen involved a lot of structural remedial work which Anthony was able to deal with professionally and to a high standard. I was impressed by Anthony’s attention to detail. We’ve successfully used AK Construction previously, so they were our first port of call when we noticed the issue. Anthony came round and instantly diagnosed the issue of why we had water coming down the wall internally every now and then. All the work was done promptly and as agreed for timing and price. We also had an issue with the brick work under our new bay windows, which Anthony also fixed perfectly. New Kitchen fitted and old one removed
Anthony did a really good job in removing the old kitchen and fitting the new one. At all times he kept me informed of what was going to be done each day and always ensured I had access to things I would need i.E. Fridge and cooker. The area was always tided at the end of each day. Anthony worked to current guidelines re social distance and that was good and we were happy to having him working in our home. In the run up to the work being done Louise was brilliant to sorting everything out. All in all a very good job.

Tony replaced a rotten lintel above a bedroom window and repointed some of the surrounding brick work.

Footing/base for extension, steels and removal of walls
We’re in the process of a rear SIP extension and opening up the existing space. We asked Anthony to do the footings and remove the external wall, middle wall, and create an opening between the front and rear rooms. This involved working with our other contractor for our build, and our electrician. Anthony’s work is excellent, the years of knowledge shines through, and enabled the smooth transition through some of the unknown challenges we occurred. Along with the quality of workmanship is the constant courtesy, tidiness, and pleasant attitude, with huge pride. Cannot recommend enough.

The counter work top built in our new warehouse is fabulous. It was purpose built to enable us to serve our customers and prevent them access to the warehouse and offices. The sliding window / service hatch helps gives privacy to the offices. Work was also done to finish off brick work started by another builder. I had structural calculations done and AK Construction knocked through and inserted a steel to give an open plan kitchen. 2 rooms were also boarded and plastered. I am very pleased with how it looks and would recommend Tony and he’s workers to anyone, They are very professional and hardworking I will definatley be using them again soon Many thanks.

Tony came to carry out what was supposed to be a short, simple job but which turned into searching for a huge water leak under the block paving. He was always polite and very informative at each stage of the work. He always arrives when he says he will and tidies up after himself. I can’t fault his commitment or work ethic and have no qualms recommending him. He’s coming back in a couple of weeks for another job!!

I’d have no hesitation in recommending AK Construction. They recently replaced the lintel at the front of my property and were helpful, on time, on budget, kept disruption to a minimum and ensured that things were left clean and tidy before they left. Great company to deal with.

I had my whole house re plastered/Skimmed as was very old and dated. We had all new electrics. The kitchen we had plastered and a new kitchen installed. And bathroom also re plastered and new bathroom installed. They have done a fabulous job I’m so please with it. And was done in no time at all. Tony and he’s team are very hard working and really listen to what you want. Price I was very happy with so I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Extremely good plasters, did exactly what they said they needed to do and within a day! They kept the rose detail when other plasterers said we would probably loose it. Cannot fault them, speedy, hard working, well skilled and great value for money.

I recently bought a house which needed a lot of work. I was recommended AK Construction and Maintenance Ltd from a friend who had previous work done. I had the kitchen, hallway, bathroom and 2 bedrooms re plastered which I was over the moon with. There were cracks above the back door / window so a lintel was installed and brickwork pointed. We needed a new combi boiler and central heating system as it was so old. I can’t thank this company enough for all there hard work, I am really pleased with the finish result.

I was really happy with AK Construction And Maintenance Ltd. I had a quote which I was happy with and they worked very hard to get finished in the time I was told. The job was inspected before and was told it had no lintel above window which it needed. And the finish result I was really happy with and peace of mind. I would highly recommend Tony and he’s workers.

AK Construction have built a new garden wall at our home in Solihull, finishing it off with decorative slate. I am completely happy with the service, they were on time, left no mess and we are very pleased with the finished wall.

We have had absolutely no issues with AK Construction and I could not be happier with them. We had problems previously with other tradespeople who did not finish the job on our garden and fencing properly. Anthony came in with a fantastic attitude. They are really friendly, give really good advice clearly with their customers interests at heart. I have given them additional work since. They are genuine, not just there to make money for themselves and it was clear that they really cared about the job. We have had new fencing, slabbing, and other hard landscaping carried out since. AK Construction take pride in their work. Anthony kept going back to polish up brickwork etc so it looked perfect. They were prepared to advise us of things that we wanted that really would not work and offered a genuinely better solution. When we have any more work we will be giving it to AK Construction as will our family. Now we have found someone we can trust we will definately be sticking with them.

This company have been working at Dorothy Pattison Hospital Refurbishing bathrooms. They were contracted to do this work at Dudley and Walsall Mental Health NHS Trust via the trust estates department.
Throughout the course of their work at Dorothy Pattison Hospital they have maintained a courteous and professional manner. Their work has been to a high standard and of the bathrooms they have completed so far we have been impressed by the quality of their work.
They have always worked in a co-operative manner due to the certain restraints imposed upon them as a result of clinical issues. They have at all times respected the sensitive nature of the work we carry out at the hospital, have respected the confidentiality of our service users and have worked responsibly in terms of keeping their work environment safe and secure at all times.

AK Plumbing & Construction have done some refurb work on my downstairs living area. We have had some plumbing work done where they have moved radiators. They have replastered the whole living and dining area with some finishing touches. They also replaced all cracked patio slabs. We are very happy with how the finished results look. Very good.
